why vms in vmnet8 can ping vms in VMnet1

vmnet1:host-only,192.168.10.x

vmnet8:NAT,192.168.80.x

why vms in vmnet8 192.168.80.x           can ping      vms in vmnet1192.168.10.1?

does NAT use hosts‘s  route table？
