Lost my license key

Hi.

I had VMware Workstation 9.0.2 for Linux installed in RHEL 6.  I recently had to upgrade my PC to RHEL 7.

I've installed Workstation in RHEL 7, but I can't find my VMware license key, which is needed to launch Workstation the first time.

Is there any "workaround" to get Workstation up and running in RHEL 7?

If it helps, in RHEL 6 Workstation was installed in /usr/bin in the root "/" file system, and I can still mount that old root "/" file system.

Thanks for any help.

Check if helps: VMware KB: Locating the VMware Workstation serial number

Linux hosts – On Linux hosts, you can find the Workstation serial number in the /etc/vmware/license-ws-XX-XX-XXXXXXfile in the your home directory.

Thank you for the info.  I found my old license key where you indicated.

Unfortunately, I now find that my Workstation 9 won't run in RHEL 7.2.  I think I need at least Workstation 11.  But, that's another issue.

Thank you again..
