Before you can run vmware, several modules must be compiled and loaded after every reboot of my computer

Hello,

I have a rather interesting issue with running vmware player on a fedora core 23 host with win7 guest.

each time I power off the VM and the host and reboot.  vmware seems to need to update the modules regardless of whether I updated the kernel or not.

The issue appears to be one of permissions for several modules.* files in /usr/lib/modules/`uname -r`/

Manually changing the permissions to 755 allows vmplayer to start.

Not sure why this is happening.  selinux is disabled.  I have added an entry in rc.local to change the permissions but they dont seem to be applied or if they are applied they are overwritten.

Thanks in advance for suggestions.
