vRA 6.2.4 VM importation - effects on production VMs

What can we expect when importing production VMs into vRA? Should we schedule downtime for this process?

There's no downtime when importing existing servers in VRA.

We import servers through bulk import. We have different templates for new servers installed by VRA and servers which we are importing. The last one has no provisioning workflow custom property so when importing them the provisioning workflow will not run.

Thanks Catbou, makes sense. Presumably if there was a called provisioning WF to be run this may impact the host during the import process, i.e. be disruptive.

That's right. In fact there is a specific stub that you can use when importing (machine registered) which you could run if desired.
