COnnecting Two PSC

Dear All,

I have two vCenter with external PSC:

1 vCenter with External PSC in Europe region-physically located

1 vCenter with External PSC in Americas region- physically located

Can anyone assist me how to connect two PSC for these two regions as I want to have a single console to monitor two vCenter.

Is there any cons in connecting two vCenters.

Regards,

Anand S

Dear Andre,

Greetings!

I have a vm ready for clone to template, I have two disk drives created, One is installed with win OS and the other for data.

While converting or clone to template..will all the drives be converted into template or the only drive which consist of OS will be there in template?

Converting a VM to a template includes the VM's current configuration, i.e. the VM with all attached virtual disks.

Dear Andre,

Thank you for the update!

Consider that I have a drive d: with personal data in it and C: drive with the OS installed.

When I take template for that VM, will the data in the d: drive will also be included in template?

Dear Andre,

Please assist me on this below clarification.

When I export and import vDS to another vCenter (vCenter 5.1 on window to VCSA 6.0), what all the settings from vDS will be copied to new vCenter like: IP, port ID, VLAN ID etc.

Can we import the vDS and then add host, then assign the IP to vmkernal port group?
