I'm Lost.
Microsoft decided to upgrade my PC from Windows 7 to 10 without my permission. It wiped out my dual boot track so I can no longer access my XP system AND as Windows 10 Home no longer supports Windows Virtual PC I can not access my XP virtual machine.
I downloaded VMware Workstation 12 Player and VMware vCenter Converter Standalone and installed both.
When I tried to "Open" / "Import" the .vmc Microsoft file I get an error:
Failed to open virtual machine: Failed to import "XP".
When I try to convert the file through the stand alone app I can not get past the source screen as I have no idea what to enter.
Could somebody walk me through this?
