Failed host showing up in vCD 5.5

Hello all, I recently had a weird issue with a raid controller card causing a host to go offline, so I had to rebuild the host. I removed the host from vCenter and brought the host back up. I added the host to the cluster and went to go prepare it in vCD and saw the old host still there! I tried to unprepare it, prepare it, etc and to no avail, I can't seem to shake it. Any ideas on how I can remove it? I'd rather not leave it sit in there.

That is the only option I have, and if I try to prepare it, I'm met with this

Is there a way I can go into the database or something and clip it out?

Reboot the cell and see if it clear the stuck job or we need to clear it from the vCD DB.

Nothing to do with a stuck job IMO.

The Database has a stuck record for the old instance of the ESXi host.  When you rebuilt and reinstalled ESXi, it was added to vCenter under a new MoRef.

Can you try to unprepare each instance of that ESXi host?  I wonder if the second one is the good "new" host, but we are hitting the older reference when doing anything.

Ideally, once the "bad host" is unprepared it should vanish from the GUI in vCD.  I've done this multiple times before, so I think it should work.

This is the normal behavior with the vcloud director. you need to do the following.

if you already added the same host again and its showing green in all state and the older entry still showing then you just to delete it from the vcd page by right clicking it. Than your problem will be solved.
