Insight for vCenter Licensing Question

I have been evaluating Log Insights and recently upgraded from 3.0 to 3.3. Based on what I'm reading, I should be able to use my vCenter license to activate the installation. However, when I attempted to apply said license, I received this notice: "Please obtain a permanent product license and apply it on the License page. Please note that converting from an Eval license to a free 25 OSI edition is not permitted."

Is there any way to maintain the historical data and configuration that I've already built out? I'd rather not lose everything in order to move to a valid license.

You cannot move from Standard Edition to vCenter Edition and the Eval license counts as Standard Edition. There is no way to export administration configuration, but you can export user data by going to /contentpack, selecting My Content, selecting the gear icon, and selecting export. I hope this helps!
