vSphere replication 6.0 can be run on VC 5.5 and ESXi 5.5?

Hi Team,

I need a help. I have a situation that, my primary site runs on VC/ESXi is 5.5 and my DR site is running on VC/ESXi is 6.0. I want to configure replication between primary to secondary sites.  Can I installed install vSphere replication appliance 5.8.1 in Primary Site VC(5.5) and vSphere replication appliance 6.0 on DR site VC(6.0) and configure replication between them(ie 5.8 -> 6.0)? Will it work? or what all alternatives I can have?

Any help is much appreciated.

This isn't currently supported. You could upgrade or downgrade to get both sites on the same version?
