ESXi 6.0 on Virtualbox

Guys,

I am trying to install ESXi 6.0 on Virtual Box

I have chosen OS to be RHEL 64 bit

CPU - 4

Memory - 3 GB

HDD - 30 GB

I am getting an error which essentially stalls installation.

Anyone seen this before or knows a workaround?

Check these things.

1. If Hardware Virtualization is enabled i BIOS/UEFI

2. You only gave ESXi 3GB RAM, ESXi requires at least 4GB RAM

Hey MattiasN81‌,

Steps tries so far:

1. Removed Virtualbox and installed Workstation 10

2. Increased RAM to 4 GB

3. Ensured VT was enabled in BIOS ( this laptop has been my test laptop for the past 3 years now )

4. Installed WS 12

5. Downloaded a new copy of ESXi 6.0 Update 1

Still getting the same error

At this point, I am stumped. Any other suggestions?
