VMFS VolInfo: invalid magic number 0x00000000  This is the end??

    BeppeScuba Novice

      - I deleted the raid10 configuration by a Dell perc H700 controller on which lay a esxi host with two Vm

      - I rebuilt the same type of existing volume raid10 previously but without initializing.

      - Esxi does not start and says "Recovery VMware Hypervisor" and must not be over.

      - Boot with MOA64-Recovery-environment (a fantastic job)

      - root@moon:~# parted -l

      Model: DELL PERC H700 (scsi)

      Disk /dev/sda: 1023GB

      Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B

      Partition Table: gpt

Number  Start   End     Size    File system  Name  Flags

      1      32.8kB  4194kB  4162kB  fat16              boot

      5      4211kB  266MB   262MB   fat16              msftdata

      6      266MB   528MB   262MB   fat16              msftdata

      7      528MB   644MB   115MB

      8      644MB   944MB   300MB   fat16              msftdata

      9      944MB   3628MB  2684MB

      2      3628MB  7922MB  4294MB  fat16              msftdata

      3      7922MB  1023GB  1015GB

      - Sda3 is my datastore

      - root@moon:~# vmfs-fuse /dev/sda3 /mnt/vmfs

VMFS VolInfo: invalid magic number 0x00000000

VMFS: Unable to read volume information

      Trying to find partitions

      Unable to open device/file "/dev/sda3".

      Unable to open filesystem

I was left with only LOURDES or I can find a solution yet?

      thank you
