VDP: Failed to create snapshot

I have been getting this error on several VMs but have not been able to figure out why.  I found the following in the log file.  Can someone tell me why VDP cannot create the directories?  How can I fix?

Do you have any warnings or errors in that log?  The info entries are less helpful in troubleshooting.

Delete the backup job and recreate it.

Or remove the VM from an existing backup job, and create a new backup job with the VM that you want to backup.
