Workstation 11.0 "Where is my wifi adapter" just installed Windows 7 64 bit?

I have 3 VM's all running old O/S XP and NT98 LOL for old software that I use for various jobs at sites. They both have a "local" and "wireless" connection I can choose under network adapters. I just made a new VM using Windows 7 64 bit PRO and there is no "Wifi adapter", how can I add one?

I've read where VMware only shows a wired connection, but that is not true because I have both on XP and 98 to enable and disable. I want to do the same with Windows 7 what am I missing?

Update for clarity:

On my XP VM's if I physcially enable the local connection bridged to my NIC I can use wired internet if I disable it I cannot. If I enable my wireless connection in my XP VM's it's the same way I can connect to the wireless network that the local machine is connected to. If it is not enable I cannot.

I need the functionality to be able to choose just like in XP and for some reason I have no WIFI adapte to turn on and off in this Windows 7 PRo if that helps at all.
