[SOLVED] VMWare Workstation Player not working ([msg.log.error.unrecoverable] VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vcpu-0))

Hi,

I've got a strange problem.

I installed VMware Workstation Player on a Windows 10 x64 System. Everything was working fine.

I was able to run a lot of virtual machines.... since today.

Since today I get the following error on every machine I want to start:

I made a clean uninstall of VMware Workstation Player, I installed it new, but the error still occurs.

I created a new (blank) virtual machine. Same error-

I didn't changed anything on my system (now Windowsupdates, no Driverupdates) since the last time I was able to run virtual machines

Can anybody help please???

Of course I can provide a log file.

Thanks a lot

So it was a Issue with the latest Avast Antivirus Software

I had to deactivate "Activate Hardwarebased virutalisation" Feature.

Than VMWare Workstation Player works againg.

Link to Avast Forum:

Issue with VMWare Player since Update to 11.1.2253
