Greetings,
All was well, until i changed the computer name of the Host (Windows 10 enterprise running VMware Workstation 12) in Control Panel>System.
Now When i launched VMware workstation 12 and try to start the VM operating system (Windows 2012 server) i have to two error messages
1) The physical disk is already in use................
2) Cannot open the disk ‘windows 2012 server.vmdk’ or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
I read some discussions which suggested the following:
Try to add user __vmware__ with Full Access rights to file "filename.vmd". - This did not work
Delete the .lck files and folders - This did not work either.
So before i do anymore damages - i thought i would post here my issue. Can anyone help me?
