Debugging - not destroy machine when scripts failed

i'm new to vra 7 and debugging software components .  I have a software compnent that runs three commands, this appears to fail even in manual testing it worked.  I don't want vRA 7 to destroy the machine so I can debug.   Is there something special to not have vRA destroy on failure?   it's a test environment so not too many people are doing work in here.
