Does your proxy require credentials?

If you are still not able to connect, Can you please enable Debug logs and email the log files to firstname.lastname@example.org

Same here with Software Manager v1.3 ....
Proxy settings are used but Software Manager is unable to connect if proxy authentication is forced.
We've tried differend proxies (squid, tmg) and enabled debug logging.
The log contains no useful information and after all we opend a SR (16892193802) because it looks like a bug.

I had a discussion with VMware support and they want to know if you opened an SR and are willing to provide the SR number.
They also want to know if you can post the content of vapi_server.log ( %appdata%\VMware\Software Manager\Download Service\Logs).
