Software deployment stuck at "in progress" in Centos 6.7 and 7

Hello everyone,

I installed VRA 7 and created a Centos 6.7 and 7 templates with customization in place according to http://www.everything-virtual.com/2015/02/creating-a-centos-7-vmware-gold-template/ . OS deployment is without any problems and both OSs get ip address and i also downloaded VRA agent and installed it with help of vmware vrealize 7 documentation. My problem is when i want to deploy a simple script to one of the centos VMs it stucks at "in progress" and never finishes. It's been a long time I;m working on it but still no success. When i log into the recently deployed centos machine and run the "systemctl status vrm-agent " it shows Active(exited). maybe this is because of vra agent is not working . Any help would be appreciated.

I'd check the agent logs on the provisioned VM. It may be certificate related, but that's just a hunch.

As an aside, you could look at using the Orchestrator "run script in guest" workflow as a way to achieve this without needing the agent.
