vRA 7 - SQL Issues on Setup

So we are trying out a new installation of vRA 7 in the lab environment.  I installed a brand new SQL server and installed SQL 2014 with all the defaults (standard).

However during the vRA Install process, when I get to validation of SQL I am getting this error:

• lab-vra-iaas.ad.he-equipment.com (SQL Server: lab-sql01
• Another instance of the component is already installed on this server.

I do no understand what this is trying to tell me.  Was I not supposed to install SQL??

Just do a check of the Programs window in Control Panel. That message indicates that you've tried an install previously and there are some artifacts on box lab-vra-iaas.ad.he-equipment.com

I had the same issues during a vRealize Automation Enterprise re-installation and I solve this uninstalling "VMware vCloud Automation Center Server" from IAAS node 1.
