show configuration output copy & paste

Hi All,

Is there a way to copy the output of "show configuration" command from one edge and paste the same to another Edge, instead of creating interface/firewall/nat configs in new Edge? I would like to deploy new Edge alone and then just want to paste the configuration details (i.e. output of "show configuration") from old edge.

Hi,

    It is not possible copy/paste the complete configuration of one edge to another edge.If this was possible Cloning the edge  would have been a much better option . I'm not sure what would be the use case here,when you need exactly same configuration on both the edges ? Are we worried about Edge Failure(Either we can go for Edge HA or vSphere HA would benefit in that case) ?

Note:Exporting Rules and Importing to any other edge  via API call is supported.
