Persona Management not syncing to Server.

Hello,

For the past week or so I have been trying to figure out this issue and have also opened a ticket with VMware. Currently when new users get onto one of our machines via View, View creates a folder for them in the Persona directory, and makes the .lck file. But when it comes to things like Desktop, Favorites, and anything other than that LCK file It won't save anything. When a user logs off it will bring up another temporary folder that has AppData and every folder inside of it but then gets deleted, like it was trying to sync. I've looked through the logs and so far here is what I've found.

From the looks of it it's saying failed to open but that's because Persona Management hasn't created it yet....

Any help would be much appreciated. If you need any more logs or anything please let me know.

Thank you!

I quick scanned your persona logs and following is queries from me.

1. Client Side Cache (CSC) should be disabled. To disable it, open "Control Panel" - "Sync Center".

Choose "Manage offline files" and click "Disable offline files". Restart windows.

Persona has its own offline file cache and it may conflict with Windows' so I recommend to disable it.

[0][12/30/2015 08:16:47:0561][VMWIsCSCEnabled       ] CSC Driver Enabled
[0][12/30/2015 08:16:47:0561][VMWIsCSCEnabled       ] CSC Driver Running
[0][12/30/2015 08:16:47:0561][VMWIsCSCEnabled       ] CSC Service Enabled
[0][12/30/2015 08:16:47:0561][VMWIsCSCEnabled       ] CSC Service Running

2. Seems that Persona was unable to find user's folder below AppData, Desktop and so on.

Are you using Windows Folder Redirection (not Persona Folder Redirection)?

[10854256][12/30/2015 08:16:45:0686][RTOLogon!VMWCreateOfflineFiles] Failed Opening Remote Folder: \Device\Mup\AMUSOLAWP51001.escreen.local\Persona\testing.user.ESCREEN.LOCAL.V2\Desktop, 0xC0000034

If yes, try to use Persona Folder Redirection instead of Windows'.

I went ahead and disabled offline files which unfortunately didn't work. I also confirmed that we aren't using Windows Folder Redirection.

I'm still having the same problem sadly.

We are in the middle of upgrading from 6.0 to 6.2 in View, when people log into the old environment it works as it should. But if someone has never logged into the old environment and goes to the new one it refuses to save any of their persona. It makes the folder for them but doesn't save anything (I've checked permissions with the tool provided by VMware and permissions are fine). I have tested this with multiple test accounts and several people in the office.

Our Antivirus we use is Trend Agentless Security.
