VCP 5 to VCP 6

Hi

I'm a VCP 5 DCV certified with barely one month left for the expiry date.

I need to understand two things here.

1) If i need to be on VCP 6 DCV, should i need to attend any specific course or should i directly take the delta exam to attain VCP 6 DCV.

2) What are the other options that may be available to complete the certification without taking any additional classroom training's?

As long as your certification has not expired, you don't need to attend a training. Take a look at VCP6-DCV Certification for your options.

The delta exam will renew your VCP5-DCV, plus it will also give you VCP6-DCV: VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization Delta Exam

If you literally just want to renew your VCP5-DCV for now, you can also take the VCP550D before the end of the year: Delta Exam - New VCP-DCV Exam
