I have a ESXi6.0 host, installed CentOS7.1 as a VM, then I want to launch a VM inside CentOS7.1 guest VM. I figured it out how to run nested virtualization, and it did worked. But I am struggling to get PCIe pass-through working inside nested VM. I have 2 10GE ports, which I marked as DirectPath IO enabled in ESXi6.0 host. Then these 2 ports are pass-through to CentOS7.1 VM. I want to pass through to nested VM inside CentOS7.1. Is this possible? I know I need to enable intel_iommu=on in /etc/default/grub. But it did not seem to take effect.
What I am missing here? Any pointer is appreciated.
