Upgrade to 5.5 said it was successfully but when I rebooted it booted (or reverted) to 5.0.0

I upgraded to vCenter 5.5 from 5.0 and I went to upgrade to 5.5 on one of the esxi hosts and the upgrade said it was successfully but when I rebooted it booted (or reverted) to 5.0.0. Any ideas what i can do to fix this? I was able to to upgrade another identical host successfully.

How are you upgrading to 5.5? (Physical CD, Update Manager, Shell etc?)

I would try again, possibly with the CD if not already attempted.
