vSphere web client Version 6.0.0 Build 2997665

Any ideas how can i fix it?

Thanks for your time!

We are having this same exact issues were you able to find a resolution?

I have been having the issue since mid December but am able to access all VDP appliances with administrator@vsphere.local. We have a ticket open with support but the tech keeps just shooting in the dark.

We have Four VDP appliances on 4 separate VCA's (geographically removed)- all pointed to one PSC (replicated to a backup)

VDPs are all 6.1.0.173 (there is a newer one out (6.1.1.19) but I could not get it to work when my VCAs were on 6.0.0.0)

VCAs are all 6.0.0.100000 U1 (build 3018523)

PCSs are also all 6.0.0.100000 U1 - but currently have issues connecting to the new {hostname}/psc site.

I have same error in my enviroment, in my case problem is because I have not privileges to use data protection.

with administrator@vsphere.local run OK.

I hope you help

Best regards.

I define a new role with all the permissions defined in KB2072861 (VMware vSphere Data Protection minimum required vCenter Server user account permissions (2072861) | ...‌) and add the vAPP Import (after a few hours adding and removing permissions).

With this settings a user can access the VDP client with out using the administrator role.

Best regards
