Get-vds commands with PowerCLI 6.0 R3

Good day,

I've recently upgraded to PowerCLI 6.0 R3 (W7 x64) and am having an issue with running Get-VDS type commands. I have ensured VMware.VimAutomation.Vds is loaded.

Once connected to a vCenter (5.5) I run a command like "Get-VDPortgroup" and it returns blank. Likewise, running "Get-VDSwitch" returns blank.

To ensure I wasn't being dumb, I run the same commands on another box running PowerCLI 6.0 R1 and they worked as expected.

Is there a general issue with these commands on R3 or is it just me?

Cheers in advance,

Christian.

Hi,

I didn't experience any issues with these commands so far. (With a vCenter 6 as target)

However if these commands are returning blank and not with errors maybe this is just a question of rights.

Could you  please confirm that you are using the same account to connect to the vcenter server from the machine with PowerCLI60R1 and 60R3?

Check also if you have any CredentialStoreItem configured in get-vicredentialStoreItem
