vcops 5.8.1 - changed vcenter registration credentials still seeing old credentials in vCenter events coming from Analytics VM ip address

Provisioned vCOPS a few years ago using a dedicated account for vCenter credentials.  Recently changed the vCenter registration credentials but vCenter events still show access from the analytics VM ip address using the old credentials.  Did not add any adapters besides what was included with install so there were no manual entry of credentials other than in vCenter registration on admin portal.  Any ideas on where to identify what is using the old credentials on the analytics VM?

Did you stop the adapter instance and re-start it since you change the creds in vR Ops? When you say "registration" credentials.. there are reg creds used to reg the vCenter extension, then the collector credentials. You need to change the 'collector' credentials, not the 'registration' credentials, to change which account is used to access the vCenter(s) for data collection.
