vRealize upgrade to 6.1 - Hyperic

After upgrading from 6.0.2 to 6.2, how do I make use of the Hyperic capability?

You mean the new EndPoint Agent capability or the old style Hyperic Server?

Hi

In order to enjoy from our OS/Application level monitoring capabilities you need to install the new endpoint operations agent on the machines that you would like to monitor.

Check the documentation in this section:

vRealize Operations Manager 6.1 Documentation Center

Good luck!

‌Do not install endpoint agent albg side with hyperic agent, revisit the vrops sizing guide to account for additional agents.

Good question, I'm very new to it.  Basically, just upgraded to vRealize Operations Mgr 6.1, which apparently supports Hyperic.

if you do not have Hyperic yet, i highly recommend to use the new endpoint operations solution , which provide OS and application level monitoring capabilities embedded within vROps, instead of installing a standalone Hyperic product,

could you elaborate on what exactly you are trying to monitor?

Just trying to take advantage of the highlighted, since we've just upgraded to 6.1.  If I don't have to install agents, or standalone hyperic, that would be all the better.

I assume this is the Endpoint Operations solution, however would expect to see something in the window below it in order to be able to start/stop it.
