    Add search in /etc/resolv.conf

      Hi all,

I understand /etc/resolv.conf gets overwritten every time the system reboots. Where can I configure search mydomain.com so that it gets added to /etc/resolv.conf automatically?

      Thanks in advance

          I found the problem:

In the interface configuration I had 2 DNS entries separated by a comma. This syntax is incorrect, it should have been two different lines with an address each. Because of that mistake, the file wasn't read in its entirety and the search line in /etc/resolv.conf never set.

          Thanks
