Change default disk provisioning

Hi - Is there a way to change the default disk provisioning to thick eager zeroed?It is set at thick now - and I am actually not sure where that is even set at.  Can this also be done by DataCenter and or cluster?

Hi,

You can make a parent virtual machine and configure its disk as a eager zeroed disk and then convert it to a template.

Then you can create new virtual machines from that.

Another solution is using automation tools such as PowerCLI for creating new VM with the disk type,
