Can I benefit from multiple 1GbE ports on a host to a single NFS volume or not? It seems there are a lot of answers for and against this question. Or do I need to create several volumes (1 pr. NIC used for NFS)?
Yes
Perhaps I misunderstood the concept of loadsharing and loadbalancing. What I would like to accomplice is to have 2 or 3 1GbE Ethernet ports per host connected to the 1 volume on NFS. Will this give me a higher bandwidth per host? This will be on vSphere 6U1 and if needed on NFS4.1.
Sorry for rephrasing my question.
