Update sequence to vSphere 6.x

Hello all,



can can anybody tell me the exact Update sequence for the Update from 5.5 to 6.0 U1.

As additional Information withing the 5.5 Installation VMware SRM is running on the vCenter Server.

Hi banumathy

please go through below steps to upgrade 5.5 to 6

vSphere upgrade sequence

1) Upgrade vCenter 5.5 to 6

2) upgrade Update Manager and SRM etc..

3) upgrade your ESXi hosts to version 6

4) upgrade your VM's virtual hardware version

5) upgrade VMware Tools in your VMs.

Please follow upgrade steps given in Install and Configure guide of vCenter Server, ESXi host, SRM etc
