Upgrading vCenter Server 5.5 to 6.0 fails with the error: Resolution: verify you are using vcenter server with supported driver (c:\windows\system32\sqlcli.dll)

Upgrading vCenter Server 5.5 to 6.0 fails with the error: Resolution: verify you are using vcenter server with supported driver (c:\windows\system32\sqlcli.dll)

I created a new system DSN using the new driver with the sql native client 11.0. (sql 2012).

How do I point to the new DSN entry? I also read that registry has to be modified.

Can't find clear direction for this one....

Has anybody fixed this issue? Thank you for your help.  Jrene
