Hi all,
I want to ask,but this is my DC backgroud :
- I have 2 DC in my country
- I connect my DC using MPLS L2 VPN
- I use cisco router to routing packet between DC using EIGRP.
I just newbie for VXLAN and NSX. Is it possible for routing VXLAN packet using my existing topology?
Hi,
It should work fine.
As long as you have mtu 1600 end-to-end. If not you can do a l2 vpn between 2 edges (1 on both sides)
That is the nice thing of vxlan. You do not have to change anything in the underlay (except that you need mtu 1600)
Thank you for your answerp0wertjep0wertje,
Is there any documentation from vmware about that? I just excited hearing that from you :smileylaugh:
The design guide is a good place to start:
