I am trying to install Standalone Converter 6 on my Ubuntu box (with WINE-but it never gets that far). I just want to move my physical Linux machine to my windows hosted Workstation.

It seems there used to be a VMware Converter for Linux, but now only windows version ?
I like to try VMware converter on Linux physical desktop.
Can it be done ?

I just run the converter on a Windows machine and tell it I want to convert a remote Linux computer. Works great.
