shutdown Esxi host

Hi friends,

we are now planning to shift our office from one place to another,we having 2 Esxi host 6.0 and 11 vm and a emc stroage .can i know the shutdown procedure

On the ESXi end of things, shut down all the VMs running and then shutdown the hosts by right clicking --> Shut Down.

If your vCenter is a VM, you can shut it down too and then connect directly to the hosts via the thick client and shutdown the hosts.

As for the storage, what system / software version are you running?

1. Gracefully shut down the VMs

2. Enter each hosts into maintenance mode

3. Shut down each hosts.
