I thought I'd start a discussion about how people reined in svMotions in terms of IOps. I have seen big numbers when running only a couple of concurrent migrations on a backend array that doesn't have a huge amount to give. I've read an old-ish article (I believe on Yellow Bricks) that states that svMotion IO is attributed to its VM and so can be controlled by SIOC, but I am curious to see what other options (if any) there are.
