Replication after VCenter re-install

Hi

Hoping to get some help with an issue.

I previously had replication running between two sites.

I've just had to re-install VCenter appliance, but everything else remains the same.

Hosts reconnected ok, but I no longer see the replication icon to manage this.

I left the replication appliances as they were and can communicate via port 5480 with them.

Is there a way to register replication without starting again so that I can see the replication icon within Virtual Center ?

Thanks

Regards

Neil

It might be something related to the trust & certificates. Why dont you try re configuring the VR appliance in VAMI (Steps 9-14 in this article - https://onevirtual.wordpress.com/2015/08/07/vsphere-replication-6-0-part-1-deployment-and-configurat...)

Hi

I think it was to do with certificates, thanks.

My hosts connected ok after vcenter reinstall, but I couldn't open a console.

Migrating VMs off, maintenance mode, reboot and VMs back on Host cured this AND I've been able to get replication working again.

Although all IPs were the same, I cleared out the ssh cache and let them recreate.

All good now, thanks for your time.
