Does running PowerCLI Scripts against vCenter occupy Database space in vCenter ?

Hi All,

Can someone confirm, running or gathering data using PowerCLI against vCenter occupy or consume vCenter database space ?

Certain commands (typically things that create, modify (including power on/off/suspend/move/run, etc.). or delete) will create event entries that will be stored in the vCenter database. Others that may are Connect-VIServer as well as may also log an event. "Get" cmdlets won't create event entries

You can spot those by having the VI Client open and seeing if the script causes any events to appear in the bottom pane and/or by running Get-VIEvent against the vCenter server after your script has run (look for events based on UserName)
