Unable to access synology iscsi datastore on nested host

I have setup a Synology ds 414 version -5-2-5592 , with 2 volumes set as 2 iscsi targets, I am running 2 esxi 6 hosts , one physical and one nested, from the phyiscal host I can access the targets immediately without any issue, from the nested host when I use dyanmic discovery I can see the targets via the static mapping but the luns never appear and I cant add them as datastores.

I have set the targets to allow multiple sessions on the synology, I can vmk ping the synology from the nested host. I have added the nested host as an allowed initiator on the Synology, although I didn't need to do this on the first host as default is set to read / write and there is no authentication set on the synology.

I've attached some screenshots

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you enabled promiscuous mode on vSwitch of your physical host ? See this another thread: Nested ESXi 5.1 and iSCSI Shared Storage
