Private Lan Tagging

Hi,

Quick question. When setting up a private vlan, is it possible to have all packets tagged with the primary vlan-id? So if my primary vlan-d is 20, and i have VMs on a secondary vlan with vlan-id 50 (community or isolated), i'd want for those packets to be tagged as vlan 20 when it gets to the physical switch. In other words, the switch will not even be aware of vlan 50.

I believe we can't change VLAN id for physical switch.

I agree with Jagdish, i dont think Vlan id can be changed at Physical switch level. Could you tell us if Switch is of L2 or L3?
