MBP2012 10.10.5 Fusion 8.0
I have problems with Fusion 8 and Boot Camp machine. I cannot create a Boot Camp machine and get a volume preprocessing error when importing a Windows 10 boot camp.
In testing, I placed a Windows 7 image in the boot camp partition and verified that Fusion 8 can create a Boot Camp machine.
I deleted the boot camp machine and booted back to boot camp.
I updated Windows 7 to Windows 10 and rebooted back to OS X. When I tried to create a Boot Camp machine on the newly updated W10 partition that just a few minutes ago was W7, I'm presented with a volume preprocessing error. It is pretty clear it is a Fusion 8 error as it could make the machine for Windows 7.
Does anybody know how to make this work for Windows 10 other than making sure you make the VMware machine against a Windows 7 install?
