Item Request Form - Make disk detail mandatory

Is there a way to make the Disk details like "Label" in this Form mandatory?

You could try creating a custom property on the blueprint and tick the user prompt checkbox. The custom property for what you asked is as follows:

VirtualMachine.DiskN.Label

If this is passed in at request time, it should then apply if you have the guest agent running (see this doc): vRealize Automation 6.2 Documentation Center

If this works, then you can build up a build profile with you required custom properties.

Hi,

When I create the Property as "User Input" the field appears on the Request Detail site of the Form and there is no effect to the Disk Values...

I do not use the Guest agent, but it’s also possible to process the Value with a vCO Workflow.

And that is what I do at the moment, but I want to make sure there is a Value for Drive-Letter when a Disk is added. Because the error handling is very complicated at this point…
