How to log in after setup?

I install vcenter 6, and picked a password.  At the end of setup, I went to the web client, and entered in administrator for the username, and the password I had chosen.  That didn't work.

I figured maybe I mistyped the password during setup, so I uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled.  I was more careful this time, but had the same issue.

I uninstalled and reinstalled again.  This time, I put the password in a document, and carefully pasted it into both the setup screen, and then the login screen when that came up.  Same issue--failed login.

Any ideas?

Unless you changed the SSO domain name during setup, try administrator@vsphere.local as the username.

Thank you!!!!   That was the exact information I needed.  I put in the username you suggested, and everything worked.
