I'm new to workstation 11, but have used workstation 9 a little. I'm trying to get a virtual machine up and running but keep having issues.
I currently run win 7 x64 with vt enabled in the bios. my cpu is a Intel Q9300 on a p5k e motherboard, my video card is a Ti 650 2 gb, I have 8 gigs of ram installed.
I'm running McAfee Security suite from Verizon and have turned everything off (parental protection, firewall and virus and malware protection.
I can't get a virtual machine to ope or boot. I've created on use the wizard and it appears in my C:\users\vmware folder but I can't get anything else to happen.
Here is a screen shot of an error message I receive when trying to open the VM.
I've checked all the settings contained within this message and everything appears to be ok.
Any ideas on what I can do next.
