NFS Datastore => No host connected, unable to delete it

Hi,

I have a NFS datastore ( it was a ISO repository ), I need to delete.   So I have removed all disks from that share

My problem is I have unmounted it from all hosts, and the datastore is still visible in my inventory and I am unable to delete it.

When I try to "Mounte Datastore to Additional Host...", the wizard run in a infinite loop and does not load the host list.

On my hosts, the NFS share is not visible. So nothing stuck because of one file in use.

Did you encounter already that problem ?

Hi,

"When an NFS datastore is unmounted, the files located on the NFS datastore become inaccessible to the ESXi host. Before unmounting an NFS datastore, you must stop all virtual machines whose disks reside on the datastore." and there is no option available from the web client to delete the NFS datastore VMFS can be deleted but not NFS datastores..

Are you using web client?

try from vSphere client and see if that makes a difference.

For NFS datastore, Unmount = Delete (there's no difference between these two activity, web client doesn't even give you option to delete NFS datastore)
