Can't import vm to new Macbook

Hi,

I can open the vm while it´s on the external harddrive but I cannot import it (just greyed) and if I drag and drop it to the folder (documents/virtual machines) it can't execute it.

Please assist 🙂

Edit - after copying it to the folder, it appears in the VM library but sais "Not found"

Hi,

Since you are able to run the VM on external drive, one thing is certain. Your virtual machine is fine.

The Import option is meant for importing VMs that were created using other Virtualization programs and hence not applicable.

Click on File > Open and then browse to the location in the Mac Hard drive where you have copied your Virtual Machine.

This should help in updating the correct  VM entry in the virtual machine library.

Cheers! Avanish
