Activate keyboard input to VM guest without clicking innto window

Hi,

I've set up an Ubuntu guest on a Windows 7 host machine, and I am quite happy with it. I have one problem though:

When I switch to the VMWare Workstation using the keyboard (Alt-Tab), I can't immediately input anything into the guest via keyboard. I always have to click into the window first.

To make it more clear: What I have to do when I'm using a different program on the Windows host:

1. Alt-Tab to VMWare Workstation

2. Click into Workstation window

3. Use the keyboard to interact with guest

What I want to do:

1. Alt-Tab to VMWare Workstation

2. Use the keyboard to interact with guest

How can I make that to happen? I would also be happy to use the keyboard, e.g. press Enter to be bale to use the guest.

Ahh, I think I figured it out by myself:

There is a menu entry "Grab Keyboard", which is mapped to Ctrl-G.

So I have to do the following:

1. Alt-Tab to VMWare Workstation

2. Press Ctrl-G

3. Use the keyboard to interact with guest
