Hey there,
I upgraded my WIndows 8.1 to the win 10 Insider Preview Built 10130.
Now, I wanted to change some settings from a V-machine.. but "surprise" it doesn't work.
The UAC pops up (I also tryed to do this with switched off UAC, also won't work) and after that. the VMWare Workstation freezes.
So I thought, I have to reinstall it, because maybe the driver interface is not running correctly with a ported version which was installed on a 8.1 host.
But, Also surprise... the uninstaller won't work either. Nor the Installation script of a VMWare Workstation 11 Test-version. Nothing.
The installer is also freezing. Just be able to be kicked out via task manager.
Does somebody have a solution, or even a workaround for this?
I think I'm not the only one who's testing Windows 10 before rollout companywide in August..
Please help!
