Outlook 365 Integrate with Yosemite Calendar?

Hi all,

Awaiting the arrival of my first Mac, a new Macbook Pro from Apple.com. As I prefer Office 365 on Windows (until the Beta for 2015 is released; can't install beta software on corporate machines), I need to know if Outlook 365 through Fusion integrates calendar invites etc into the default OS X calendar. Outlook 2011 will natively be installed as well, so worst case I can simply open and close Outlook 2011 to update the native OS X calendar with the exchange server, but I'd rather just ignore Outlook 2011 all together.

Thanks in advance.

Hi justinhowe,

Congrats on your new Mac 😃

Automated calendar sync is not a feature of Fusion, so it wouldn't do that for you.

What I do is have Outlook on my corp. Windows VM, and then just use Apple Mail and Calendar for my Mac connected to the same exchange account.  Outlook 2011 just hurts my eyes these days Smiley Wink.  (Apple can natively connect to Exchange, you don't need Outlook on the Mac at all)
